How much does the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant pay in 2026-27?
The Dual Enrollment Grant pays up to $620.55 for each of a student's first five three-credit courses at a two- or four-year college, then up to $100 per credit hour for courses six through ten. At a Tennessee College of Applied Technology it pays by clock hours, up to 1,296 hours.
TSAC labels these amounts tentative. One application covers fall 2026, spring 2027 and summer 2027, and it is due June 30.
Who is eligible for dual enrollment money in Middle Tennessee?
Juniors and seniors who meet a college's dual-enrollment admission criteria can use the grant at two- and four-year colleges, and any 9th-12th grader can use it at a TCAT. Students must keep a cumulative 2.0 GPA in grant-funded courses.
Nashville-area students commonly take courses through Nashville State Community College, Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Motlow State's Smyrna campus, Columbia State's Williamson County campus and Middle Tennessee State University. Ask your private school which partnerships it already has.
